20,000 square foot masonry building with steel joists/metal deck roof. A wood framed mezzanine separates the sales floor from parts/service. Architectural features include framed accent walls, clerestory windows and a perimeter canopy. The northeast corner of the building cantilevers using masonry beams that give the appearance that the structure is floating over the main entrance.
Project Services Provided:
- Engineer of record.
- Structural design/drafting of walls, columns, joists, beams, foundation and wood framing.
- Reviewed shop drawings and requests for information.
- Performed building code mandated structural inspections of work in progress.
